聚焦渐冻症（ALS）等重大神经退行性疾病，整合并创新多组学、空间组学和深度学习等手段🟰，探索疾病的分子🦅、细胞和空间机制。已发表SCI论文53篇🧑🏼🍼，影响因子累计约310，被引用>2600次（Google scholar），H-index =30🏥。近几年的工作整合甲基化组和基因组学研究😈，揭示了多种遗传/衰老因素与表型异质性有关 (Brain 2018, Brain 2019, Acta Neuropathol 2020，Movement Disorders 2022，均为通讯)🧑🏻🦯➡️；开发了新的计算生物学工具解析组织空间转录组数据中基因表达的空间易感性，揭示了ALS基因的皮层易感区域和新的ALS风险基因（Brain 2024，通讯）🧣。主持多项国自然面上和上海市科委项目。担任上海市医学遗传学学会委员🕵🏼♀️🪡。受邀担任Nature Communications, Acta Neuropathologica等期刊评审，Alzheimer society of UK、MND Association (UK)项目评审👩🦽。
Dr. Zhang’s lab focuses on major neurodegenerative diseases (such as ALS). We are interested in innovating novel technologies, such as multi-omics, spatial omics and deep learning to explore novel molecular, cellular and spatial mechanisms underlying brain diseases. Dr. Zhang has published >53 SCI papers, with a cumulative impact factor of approximately 310, cited by >2600 times (Google scholar), and H-index =30. His recent work integrated methylome and genomic studies that revealed multiple genetic and aging factors linked to phenotypic heterogeneity (Brain 2018, Brain 2019, Acta Neuropathol 2020, Movement Disorders 2022, as corresponding authors). He also developed novel computational tools to pinpoint the spatial susceptibility of gene expression derived from spatial transcriptomic data of human and mouse tissues, identifying layer 5 cortical region as an ALS susceptible region and nominated novel ALS risk genes (Brain 2024, as a leading corresponding author). Dr. Zhang lead multiple projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China and Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. He also served as a committee member of the Shanghai Society of Medical Genetics. He was invited to serve as a reviewer for Nature Communications, Acta Neuropathologica and many other academic journals, and an external grant reviewer for Alzheimer society of UK and Motor Neuron Disease Association (UK).
